Call for Papers

JAM will include parallel sessions for submitted papers selected via an open call. Papers should be anonymized and no more than 3000 words (not including references). Philosophical papers on all topics concerning imagination are welcome. The submission deadline is October 15. Notification of paper status will be provided by December 1. For the submission form and further details, see here. A limited number of partial travel stipends are available for early career researchers and scholars residing outside the United States. Call for Symposium Proposals

JAM also has limited spots for submitted symposia selected via an open call. Symposia on all philosophical themes concerning imagination are welcome. The submission deadline is October 15. Notification of proposal status will be provided by December 1. A symposium should contain 3 papers and may also include up to two discussants and a chair (if you do not specify a chair, one will be assigned to you).  Symposium proposals should be anonymized, and they should explain the theme of the symposium and include extended abstracts of each of the three symposium papers (1000 words each).  For the submission form and further details, see here. Further Details

There is a limit of one paper/symposium submission per person. No one can appear on the program more than once in a speaking role.

Lunches will be provided for all program participants on all three days of the conference. There will also be one conference dinner provided for all program participants.
